Cherohala Skyway: Late fall color

Location: Tellico Plains, TN
Spectacular scenary with fall color, majestic water- falls, tranquil rivers and experienced instruction all await you dur- ing our Cherohala Late Fall Color tour. Arranged to take advan- tage of cooler weather and fewer vacationers, we will explore the area of the Cherokee NF and the Nantahala NF with the guidance of a top nature photographer and teacher who knows the area well. Besides the opportunity for inspiring scenics and fabulous inti- mate details, Bill will share new techniques of photographic ex- pressions, both in camera and also with the computer. We will have time to discuss image management and also image fun.
Schedule: We will meet on Thursday afternoon by 5pm at the cab- in for introductions, settling in, followed by a wonderful meal. Each day will start with a simple breakfast and out the door to ex- plore morning light at our chosen location. Lunch will be in the field or back at the cabin with some time to download im- ages and talk about techniques. Since night falls early this time of year, most of our computer explorations will occur in the evening. We will finish before lunch on Monday November 5.
Price: $1699, includes instruction, lodging in cabin and all meals from evening Thursday November 1 to Breakfast on November 5.
